Hi, I’m Anjana Ashok (Ahn-juh-nah Ah-shohk). I am predominantly a gravitational wave astronomer, and also a thirty something feeling her way through life in this universe.
Currently, I work on the NANOGrav Pulsar Timing Array project at Oregon State University. My main focus revolves around detection methods for individual gravitational waves in Pulsar Timing Array data. But I get routinely excited by pulsars themselves – especially when their quirks show up in the timing data we collect.
Here’s a sort-of-intereview.
